08:00 Pick-up from your accommodation in Tetebatu or surrounding areas (Kuta, Senggigi, Mataram — ask for pricing)
08:30 Arrive at Tetebatu Village. Welcome coffee/tea at our basecamp. Meet your local guide — a Tetebatu native who will share personal stories and insights into village life.
09:00 Begin the walking tour through the heart of Tetebatu Village. Stroll along quiet lanes lined with traditional Sasak houses, colorful gardens, and friendly waving children.
09:30 Visit a traditional Sasak home compound. Learn about the unique architecture — bamboo walls, thatched roofs, and the symbolic layout of family living spaces. Discover the meaning behind the low doorways and elevated foundations.
10:00 Stop at a local weaving workshop. Watch skilled women demonstrate the intricate art of tenun (traditional Sasak hand-weaving) on wooden looms. Learn about natural dyeing techniques using local plants. Opportunity to purchase authentic handmade textiles directly from the artisans.
10:30 Visit a blacksmith’s workshop. See how traditional tools and keris(ceremonial daggers) are forged using techniques unchanged for centuries. Try your hand at the bellows!
11:00 Walk to the village coffee processing hut. Learn the entire process — from cherry to cup — as villagers roast and grind locally grown Tetebatu coffee the traditional way. Enjoy a fresh brew with homemade Sasak snacks.
11:30 Visit the local elementary school (when in session). Meet the children and see how education thrives in rural Lombok. A heartwarming experience that connects travelers with the community.
12:00 Stroll through the village market (market days only: Wednesday & Sunday). Browse fresh produce, local spices, and handmade crafts. Your guide helps you navigate and bargain like a local.
12:30 Return to basecamp. Light refreshments served. Share your experience and ask any lingering questions.
13:00 Drop-off at your accommodation.
